When Work is Slow, How Can You Count on God to Provide for Your Needs?

God Knows Your Needs and Will Provide

In every business, there are times when the money seems like its rolling in and then stops for no reason of your own.  What do you do when your customers stop calling and you are panicking and asking yourself how you are going to pay the bills?  Here are some tips in your Christian walk with Jesus.

Philippians 4:19 tells us that God will provide for our every need.  This means that if you believe in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and savior, you should not worry about it.  God will pay your bills even though you can’t see it right now.  At times, God does test our hearts and asks for our obedience and faith in him to come through.  You may be lacking in faith.  Read some scriptural verses on faith today and feel secure knowing that God will provide for your needs.

Matthew 6:31-32 tells us to not be anxious about money or wonder how you are going to provide for yourself.  God knows what you need, and he won’t let you down.  Keep on praying and asking for God to provide for you.  Have faith that he has a plan already in place.  You are not going to get let down.

Luke 12:24 tells us that God feeds all the animals of the earth.  He cares much more for you.  Do you know that over 7 billion people live on planet earth? There are over 8.7 million species of animals and God provides for them all.  Did you ever wonder how a bill got paid and you had no idea how you were even going to pay it? It’s always shocking to watch God’s miracles in our lives. All that we can do is pray to Jesus and watch him provide for our needs.

Matthew 6:31 reminds us to not worry about what we need.  The apostles went on long journeys with Jesus and God always provided for them. Can you imagine having to travel the entire world preaching the gospel and not knowing where you were going to sleep at night or if you had enough food.  This is what the apostles did to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.  They traveled and had faith that God would provide for them.  If they were provided for, you will be to.
